COMMERCIAL SECURITY GRILLES
Our most secure grille in the product line up, the SentryGate’s® patented design is an alternative to traditional rolling or counter grilles. Featuring a unique curtain comprised of injection molded components and continuous metal rods, the SentryGate® provides the ultimate protection to a parking garage entrance, in front or behind a glass storefront or closed pharmacy counter.
The SentryGate’s patented design is an aesthetic alternative to traditional rolling or counter grilles and is available in white or black. The custom gate’s contoured curtain profile allows the unit to tightly store in an overhead coil. Also available in a compact model, the compact unit is installed in spaces where a rolling counter door would be used, such as pharmacy or concession counter openings. The full sized commercial security gate unit is typically used for full sized or very wide openings.
When you need a security grille that is heavy on security, light on weight, the SentryGate® has an efficient design that allows for interior mounting to existing construction.

- Compact model (ESG 20) for openings 2’ wide by 1’6” high up to 14' wide by 10' high.
- Standard model (ESG 21) for all other openings up to 23' 4" wide by 14' high, or smaller doors which have high cycle requirements
Additional information:
- If between jambs guide mounting is selected, minimum width is 2'11", minimum height is 2'7" high.
- Maximum size for push up operation is 8' wide x 8' high.
- Self supporting tubes only available with a face of wall mounting.
Usage
The doors are constructed for daily use and can withstand operation of up to 20 cycles per day – that’s 50,000 cycles for the lifetime of the door.
Standard Materials and Finishes
The SentryGate® combines high strength injection molded components with continuous metal rods spaced every two inches. The smooth finish is available in a black or white matte.
Surrounding components are clear anodized aluminum as standard. Optional finishes are black anodized or selected color powder coat finish.
Available Operators
Our doors can open by motor, hand-crank, or push-up operation, depending on size, weight and/or frequency of operation.
Model MG – A medium duty operator for doors that will cycle no more than 20 times per day
Model SG – A super duty, full logic operator for larger doors or doors which may periodically cycle more than 20 times per day (used with Extreme® option).
Tube Motor - If aesthetics or strict dimensional limitations around the header are key, our concealed tube motor is a much smaller operator – and available only with the compact model

Aesthetics
Chain Diverter for MGH Operators
This option moves the auxiliary chain out of the clear opening and to the side of the door – enabling free movement through the door and making a chain bag unnecessary.
Fixed Panels
Grille curtain can be mounted in a fixed frame assembly. It can be installed separately, or installed near a rolling grille curtain to complement the aesthetics. Often used in parking garages.
Hood and Operator Covers
Metal cover to protect the coil or operator from exterior weather, debris or to meet OSHA or UL 325 safety requirements.
Powder Coating Grilles
Powder coat finish in more than 180 colors is available on perimeter components such as the aluminum bottom bar, hoods, wall angles, tubes and fascia. This finish is not available on the grille curtain.
Trim Package
In applications where exterior aesthetics are important, such as hotels, condominiums, convention centers and parking garages, the addition of a trim package can cover unsightly hardware and contribute to the building's architecture.
Performance Upgrades
Grille High Cycle Construction
For grilles that will cycle more than 5 times per day, such as parking garages and sally port openings, we recommend Model ESG12 brick pattern configuration. Alternative high cycle options include the Extreme SentryGate® grille and the Extreme 300 Series Grille.

Safety and Protection
Entrapment Protection Devices
Entrapment protection devices ensure that a motorized door or grille will not close on an object. If an object enters path of closure, the entrapment protection device will stop the door or grille from closing and return it to the fully open position.
Guide-Mounted Interlocks
An electrical cutout switch to prevent motor operation if locking device is not first disengaged.
Locking
A wide variety of locking options are available to meet your security needs.
Manual Release System
If egress is required on a motorized grille, a wall mounted pull handle disengages the motor to allow the grill to partially open.

Countertops are available for a complete counter shutter closure solution, and can be UL rated.

There are multiple mullion options - corner, fixed and removable.
